A great employee should be personable. They should get on with disparate individuals (and let’s face it, advertising and marketing contains some fairly large egos!) Jakson handles everyone with a big, genuine smile and utter professionalism.
They should be capable of working (and learning) independently. Whilst Jakson was at M&C Saatchi, he taught himself both the technology and skills he needed – when we asked him if he could do certain jobs – of course he could, he’d pre-emptively prepared himself for work he knew was coming.
His attitude, well, I think you get the sense by now that we thought very highly of Jakson. He was a ‘roll your sleeves up’ employee and just got on with the job. And if that meant late nights or weekends, the smile was still there.
With his utter drive, calm demeanour, and a clear understanding of where he wants to go and what he needs to get there, I have no doubt that Jakson could be one of the outstanding producers in Australia.
